Booking Terms & Conditions

Clear Sky Holiday rental terms and conditions booking forms will be forwarded on request.

The security breakages deposit amount depends on each individual villa this will be confirmed on the booking form.

Clearskyvillas is a mediator between the owner and the client, The contract will be between the owner and client.


Please read carefully – completion of booking form and payment of deposit will be deemed an acceptance

1.     Insurance:

We advise you to arrange adequate insurance to cover yourselves and your personal belongings whilst staying at the property.

covid 19,  we cannot refund bookings  for clients that cannot travel due to the contagion of covid 19 before travel, so we  advise travel insurance to cover this. (unless we are able to re let the villa) then a full refund will be given.

2.     Liability:

The owners accept no liability in relation to accidents occurring in or on the property, or damage or injury to clients or their property, howsoever caused. The swimming pool and other facilities are used at guests’ own risk. Parents/Guardians are responsible for the supervision of children, particularly in and around the pool.
Additionally, the owners accept no liability for:

– any temporary defect or failure in the supply of public services to the property, or any equipment, appliance or  machinery in the house or garden, (though the owners will take reasonable steps to rectify or avoid such defect or failure).
– adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond our control which result in loss, inconvenience or damage.
– any loss, inconvenience or damage suffered by or caused to the Client, should the property be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period. In this event, the Owner will refund to the Client no more than the amount paid in respect of the rental period.
– under no circumstances will the Owner’s liability to the client exceed the amount paid for the rental period.

3.     Payment: 

Bookings made within six weeks of the letting, the whole of the rental payment should be forwarded with your booking form.

Bookings made prior to six weeks of the letting, a non refundable rental deposit of 20% of the rental sum should be forwarded with your booking form.  The balance of the rental  are to then due six weeks prior to the letting.

4. Cancellation: 

If cancellation is requested more than six weeks in advance of the letting, any monies paid, less the deposit, will be refunded.

If cancellation is requested within six weeks prior to the letting, and it is not possible to re-let the property, the owner reserves the right to retain the balance of the rental payment.

5.  Property

The Client agrees to keep the property and all furniture, fittings & equipment etc., in or on the property in a like state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the letting; and will make good (or will arrange with us to make good) any damage, breakage, or loss that may occur during the period of letting.

6.  Keys

Clients are responsible for keys of the property during their stay and they must be returned to our representative prior to departure. If keys are lost, the cost of replacement locks and keys will be deducted from damage deposit. The property must at no time be left unlocked (house or gates) whilst unoccupied.

7. Property availability 

Holiday lettings are by the week (unless by prior arrangement) from 4pm on the date of arrival to 10am on the date of departure. The time lapse is to enable the property to be inspected and prepared in between lets and ensure everything is in good order.

8.  Smoking 

All members of the Client’s party agree not to smoke, nor to allow smoking, inside the house at any time.  If this is not strictly adhered to, a deduction from the deposit may be made.

9.   Vacating the Property:

We rely upon the goodwill of our Clients to vacate the property in a clean and tidy state.  Should the property be left in poor condition, necessitating intensive cleaning, then a charge of £20 per hour may be deducted from the security deposit.

10. Security deposit :

The security deposit will be due on arrival

The security deposit will normally be refunded within 7 days of the return of the keys to our local representative, subject to satisfactory inspection & less any deductions, in accordance with the conditions listed above.
