Vejer de la Frontera

Vejer sits 200m  high up above sea level and  is a veritable maze of quaint whitewashed houses. I tis about a half hour drive heading south from chiclana and well worth a visit.

You have more than 12.000 acres of the Las breñas National park to explore as well as the old historic village. Starting from the charming Plaza de España you can work your way around the labyrinth of winding cobbled streets to arrive at the medieval castle. There are three beaches within a 12km radius of veje;r  “El Palmar” “Caños de Meca” and “Trafalgar” which are usually busy only during the summer season or at weekends with the windsurfers.
